Posture Improvement
Pleasant Appearance = Posture = General Health
Posture affects physical attractiveness, confidence, and overall mobility. Even without pain, it can significantly disrupt many aspects of life.
Most people think of posture as merely an aesthetics concern. However, posture is quite literally a window into the spine. Chiropractors who have studied posture to the extent we have can look at one’s posture and generally know what to expect on their x-rays. Posture distortions are simply where several spinal vertebrae have misaligned in the same direction, and all spinal misalignments have a significant impact on overall health; so much so that medical journal studies have shown how postural issues affect physiology to the extent that they shorten lifespan.
What Causes Postural Problems?
Postural problems can be caused by:
- Genetic growth defects
- Bad ergonomic or lifestyle habits
- Spinal dysfunction and/or misalignment
- Spinal ligament injuries
How Do We Evaluate Postural Problems?
Because of its massive effects on health and wellness, correcting posture has been one of our primary focuses in our practice. We take it very seriously. To do so, we perform a detailed assessment of spinal motion and posture, both visually and via digital x-ray analysis, if clinically indicated.
What Do We Do To Treat Postural Problems?
Based on our findings, we will prescribe specific corrective exercises and spinal adjustments, as well as ergonomic and lifestyle recommendations. These interventions are combined with the purpose of addressing the fundamental causes of the postural distortions.

Is There a Catch to the Complimentary Consultation?
There is no catch to this offer. One of our core values is that we don’t push. A consultation is just a conversation; not a commitment. We recognize that choosing a new doctor can be nerve-racking and we want to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible prior to engaging in any assessments or treatments. The complimentary consultation allows you the opportunity to talk with one of the doctors to find out exactly if we can help; if so, how, and if not, we’ll recommend you to the best provider in the community who we think can.
