Migraines/Headaches Treatment
Do you lock yourself in a dark room multiple days a month? Do you hear your children say things like, “Mommy can’t play with us; she has a headache again”? Do you find it hard to just think when you are dealing with headaches? Maybe it isn’t this bad; maybe you’re just sick of dealing with constant nagging aches in your head. Either way, we can help.
If there’s one condition that surprises us most when they don’t improve, it’s migraines/headaches. …because our patients so frequently do so much better after a course of our care, we simply come to expect it.
What Causes Headaches?
Headaches are very common in people who spend long hours sitting, don’t get enough sleep, have a stressful lifestyle, or work at a computer. The pain often starts in the neck or base of the skull and travels to the front of the head.
Many people who get headaches say they can feel them coming on. These headaches can be the result of previous trauma to the neck, such as whiplash, or from repetitive poor posture. Headaches are most often attributed to stress and dysfunction in the neck.
How Do We Evaluate For Headaches?
Since the majority of headaches and migraines are caused by problems in the neck, we evaluate the posture, alignment, and function of the entire cervical and upper thoracic spine to determine the underlying cause.
How Do We Help Treat Headaches?
In simple terms, we adjust the alignment of your spine so that it reduces the stress on your nerves and muscles. Based on your specific findings, other corrective rehab stretches and exercises may also be prescribed.

Is There a Catch to the Complimentary Consultation?
There is no catch to this offer. One of our core values is that we don’t push. A consultation is just a conversation; not a commitment. We recognize that choosing a new doctor can be nerve-racking and we want to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible prior to engaging in any assessments or treatments. The complimentary consultation allows you the opportunity to talk with one of the doctors to find out exactly if we can help; if so, how, and if not, we’ll recommend you to the best provider in the community who we think can.
