Knee Pain Treatment
Knee Pain Can Quickly Erode Your Lifestyle
Knee pain can dramatically impact your daily life. Basic movements, walking stability, exercise, and other hobbies can be severely limited or impossible with knee pain. Not only that, but it’s likely causing problems elsewhere, such as your feet, hips, and/or spine, as your body attempts to adapt to the pain.
Knee pain is especially common among two groups of people: athletes/active individuals and seniors. Athletes and active individuals often experience knee pain due to trauma and overuse injuries, whereas the elderly population experiences knee pain due to degenerative arthritis.
What Causes Knee Pain?
Knee pain can be caused by:
- Trauma or deterioration of the ligaments or menisci
- Joint arthritis
- Misalignment/improper motion of the knee joints
- Radiating pain from dysfunction of the lower spine and subsequent nerve inflammation
How Do We Evaluate Knee Pain?
The secret to success with knee pain is to evaluate the structure and function of not only the knee itself, but also the foot, ankle, hip, pelvis, and lower back. This comprehensive approach helps us get the whole picture and pinpoint the true cause, to treat it accordingly. That’s exactly what we do here at Vivify Chiropractic.
How Do We Treat Knee Pain?
Based on what we find to be the primary cause, we may perform specific adjustments to the knee, lower spine, pelvis, hip joint, ankle, or foot. We may also prescribe foot lifts, orthotics, and/or corrective rehab and stabilizing exercises.

When Can I Schedule an Appointment?
Because we know schedules and traffic can be hectic, appointments are available 5 days per week; as early as 10am up until 6pm.
Is There a Catch to the Complimentary Consultation?
There is no catch to this offer. One of our core values is that we don’t push. A consultation is just a conversation; not a commitment. We recognize that choosing a new doctor can be nerve-racking and we want to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible prior to engaging in any assessments or treatments. The complimentary consultation allows you the opportunity to talk with one of the doctors to find out exactly if we can help; if so, how, and if not, we’ll recommend you to the best provider in the community who we think can.
