Kids’ Health and Development
What Causes Pediatric Spinal Problems?
Children deserve to grow, flourish, and thrive, beginning at birth. Everyone knows the birth process is hard for the mom, but guess what? It’s tough on the baby too! They had to work hard to get out of there! …and if it was an especially difficult birth where extra amounts of force and/or twisting were utilized, the stress and even injury can be severe.
We see a lot of kids in our practice, and when we sit down for a consultation with the parents of a child who’s having some type of problem or symptom, like colic, acid reflux, torticollis, irritability, trouble breastfeeding, constipation, slow weight gain, or any other condition that children really shouldn’t be having to deal with, we always ask the parents, “Was it a difficult birth?” and 100% of the time, the response will be something along the lines of, “Oh yeah! It took so long, and the doctor had to pull really hard!” These are the kids who can often get back to being a normal child with our specific and gentle chiropractic care.
Why Chiropractic For “Healthy” Children Without Known Pain?
On the flip side, we have parents bring their babies by soon after birth, sometimes on the way home from the hospital, just to get checked to make sure everything is okay from the get-go. Because the parents and we know that if we make sure that baby’s spine is functioning optimally from the beginning and kept well with regular visits, that baby has a better chance of developing optimally, growing into healthier adults, and avoiding a lot of the same problems their parents had.
As A Twig Is Bent, So Grows The Tree
Much of our post-graduate studies have focused on pediatric care and pediatric conditions. Kids are evaluated differently than adults and treated differently than adults.
Whether your child is not dealing with any “problems” or not, after we conduct a pediatric-specific assessment, if we find any spinal areas that need attention, we can provide gentle and specific chiropractic adjustments to remove stress from your child’s spine, so they can form the essential building blocks that will lead to a lifetime of success.
All Big Problems Started Out As Small Problems
Schedule your child for a check-up now because small, kid problems are easier to correct than big, adult problems.

When Can I Schedule an Appointment?
Because we know schedules and traffic can be hectic, appointments are available 5 days per week; as early as 10am up until 6pm.
Is There a Catch to the Complimentary Consultation?
There is no catch to this offer. One of our core values is that we don’t push. A consultation is just a conversation; not a commitment. We recognize that choosing a new doctor can be nerve-racking and we want to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible prior to engaging in any assessments or treatments. The complimentary consultation allows you the opportunity to talk with one of the doctors to find out exactly if we can help; if so, how, and if not, we’ll recommend you to the best provider in the community who we think can.
