Hip Pain Treatment
As a result, the only solutions people are often given are injections or a hip replacement. Of course, neither option addresses the true cause. Sometimes the problem has deteriorated to the point where a replacement is the most prudent answer. However, there are many of those cases where our approach can save them from going down that road for many years, or even never ending up needing the surgery.
What Causes Hip Pain?
The true cause of most hip pain is inflammation due to asymmetrical stress that causes biomechanical dysfunction in the joint. If left long enough, this will lead to accelerated degeneration of the bone and cartilage, and more pain.
The most common causes of that asymmetrical stress include:
- An anatomical short leg
- Foot arch issues
- Misalignment or improper motion of the foot, ankle, knee, or hip joint
- Pelvis or lumbar spine issues
How Do We Evaluate Hip Pain?
When we start digging into a case with this condition, we evaluate all of the potential causes mentioned above so both you and we are confident we are recommending the best answer for your specific body.
What Do We Do To Treat Hip Pain?
Based on what we find to be the primary cause, we may perform gentle, specific adjustments to the lower spine, pelvis, hip joint, or even in the foot, ankle, or knee. We may also prescribe foot lifts, orthotics, and/or corrective rehab stretches or exercises.

Our clinic is conveniently located on Bird Rd., just off the 826, so we enjoy caring for patients from Coral Gables to Kendall, to Hialeah, and all over Miami-Dade County.
When Can I Schedule an Appointment?
Because we know schedules and traffic can be hectic, appointments are available 5 days per week; as early as 10am up until 6pm.
Is There a Catch to the Complimentary Consultation?
There is no catch to this offer. One of our core values is that we don’t push. A consultation is just a conversation; not a commitment. We recognize that choosing a new doctor can be nerve-racking and we want to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible prior to engaging in any assessments or treatments. The complimentary consultation allows you the opportunity to talk with one of the doctors to find out exactly if we can help; if so, how, and if not, we’ll recommend you to the best provider in the community who we think can.
